No, most do not.

But your chances of making partner at SM are obviously much higher than at Associate or Senior Associate. So we usually tell people don’t think so far yet lol.

Need MBA to be director / partner? Or does this only apply to Big 4 firms in the US?

For strategy consulting only (i.e. Monitor Deloitte, Strategy&, EY-Parthenon), almost all the senior guys have MBA. But other than that, pretty much optional. For big 4 in the US, generally across consulting (not just strategy) MBA is common. But audit, tax etc. usually not.

For audit, you do need to be a Chartered Accountant of Singapore which is a pre-requisite to becoming a Public Accountant.

Looking at exit opportunities from yellow.
High salary cant solve the current brain drain and manpower issue.

Is the attrition rate this year higher than other years?

Yes. Ngl, EY's plan of increasing the salary worked for me (bit of a golden handcuff now) . Was intending to jump soon after hitting the 2 year mark in advisory but the comp for the exit options are less attractive than before now.

2 years? I’m assuming you’re a S1 now? How much is the new increment?
