Yes 5k, blue's SCA increment is only 10%, not 20%, also applies to ACCA/CPA Australia

5k is a joke.
probably cant leave after getting your 5k because most companies out there pay 4.5k for accountants
probably have to take pay cut to even leave

Not really. I reckon a big reason is that it has been so long, some people have already moved on with their lives and shifted to other jobs, careers, industries, and are in a position where this is no longer as important or critical as an earlier stage where it would have mattered more.
It is like in the time it took for the baby formula to go on discount, your baby now already taking PSLE.
