What about other non-monetary factors?

Obviously the poster has yet to start working to appreciate the fact that bosses will not increase salaries or hire new headcount easily.

Once the new hires start working countless weekends and see their female peers crying in the toliets, they will realise money is not the most important in life after all.

Big 4s’ old model of selling gullible sheeps the partner’s dream is not working anymore. The new generation simply don’t buy it. They will fade away like Nokia one day.

I foresee the big 4s in Singapore will combine with Malaysia one day, because they are all made up of Malaysians anyway.

Does the average acct grad really think they have a decent shot at making partner?

I always thought the idea was for them to go in and pia 3-4 years NS before leaving for corporate side.
