Yes accountantcy faces the most threats from AI, etc therefore you need to ask yourself are you willing to make the sacrifice to compete with others by adding more value, take on more workload or become better than the others to justify your job as an accountant. Otherwise just quit. Go drive grab. Or be a security guard.
There you go

Nowadays alot of headhunters want finance director to handle IT, supply chain , administration and HR which is ridiculous

There are indeed better ways to stand out from the crowd and to earn money

No point overloading ownself and end up screwing up everything

In terms of ISCA growth strategy, we should be looking at a few pointers

1) why cant accountancy pull in talents from medicine and law?

2) why are there so many billionaires in business but very small % have accountancy backgrounds?

Accountancy salaries are not matching with inflation.
That call is made by companies not you or the government. Already you mentioned Accountants are being replaced by AI, and can easily be outsourced, etc so why would a company pay more? No logic. Why don't you open your own accountancy firm and pay more. See how that works out for you.

Siao. Accountancy worth at most 30% of medicine or law lo. Disgrace accountancy ok le, dont insult law/medicine.

I might as well come to SG as foreigner and attain citizenship right?

Must wait for at least 5 years worth of $200 (last time was $100) NS credits to pay for 1 SCAQ module fee

need 2 decades or more to become CA Singapore using government NS payouts

Basically for a normal capability person in SG, your accountancy pay gap widens over time vs medicine, law and USA/Switzerland Accountancy grads lol.

I hope you will achieve the highest ROI then.
yea but obv accountancy student is CMI compared to law and med student
