I think those are Advisory roles, not Accountancy.

Nowadays minimum standard is must be big 4 manager, CA then can succeed in accountancy

If your friend dont fight for this role then there will be many others who will want it

Your friend should instead reply “Im Deloitted to Receive your Email”

Nowadays many new audit and accounting roles is all trashy due to reduced budget and foreign competition

Audit Senior is the new audit manager, basically you do everything except having a manager’s salary LOL

Finance manager is the new CFO so basically you do everything expected of CFO

do u think all those malaysians in big 4 have CA? no. this means CA has no relevancy anymore

Why on earth would anybody want to be auditor? Just be doctor or lawyer. Work just as hard but 3-5x the pay

Auditors are useless job. Why people so like enter audit. No future.

One thing about Malaysians is that they are united as a bunch and they have some form of cronyism going on

I think Singaporeans should learn from Malaysians in this aspect

Malaysian got some goal to work for. Grind a few years in SG play office politics in Big 4 after that can retire with large landed back home. that's why they are super motivated.

For Sinkies what goal is there? If you enter Big 4 means you already lucked out on your 1st 2nd or 3rd choice job. Resigned to the fate of overworked underpaid at the end can only go back to small HDB. Getting surpassed by your peers in finance or even insolan agen. Where got motivation still.
