I don’t think ISCA has any power over the Big4.
ACRA is the one part of the government, as a statutory board under ministry of finance.
ISCA is not part of government… it’s just the national accounting body. And is the “designated entity” with power to confer the CA membership.
ISCA by itself has no other power over companies.
The power to sign accounts (Public Accountant) is also regulated by ACRA to my understanding.

It's mostly a group of CAs from five-day workshops in ISCA teaming up with the Big 4 to screw over local grads and new-generation accountants. They're all just looking for a comfortable retirement while dragging the industry down.

I think big4 is not bad la tbh. They would will increase root catchies, guiding complack of audit or gen. I say the best experienced faming fieldwork) over one with the most. Of cost experiencesses, it major gen. I do detect fieldwork lead auditors should in experienced a fied audit issues of big listep blaming SM on field best and most importing will ent staff on ever simportant folks should a financial reportant for CAD with the best at fieldwork) over on therwise, every audit major CAD will ensure qualifielding is just at sia.

Add on
1. Must have NS lieutenant to prove leadership ability as well
Must enter Accountancy with becoming CFO in mind as a finance leader since can command a platoon effectively
The consistent yearly IPPT training will ensure you have good health to sustain overtime
til you hit CFO
2. Must be NUS accountancy or NTU accountancy only
This is to ensure solid technical skillset to handle all aspects of finance in CFO level and will not make error and cause financial losses

I've noticed that most audit associates seem to lack responsibility. Many just want to complete their three years, finish their SCAQ, and leave the audit field. It’s strange how they seem to dislike or even resent staying in audit for more than three years.

It has been this way since 2011.
Nowadays you’ll be lucky if they even stay the full 3 years.
