Hi everyone,

It seems that ACCA and ISCA were unable to reach a conclusion on the MRA. Has anyone heard about this news?

Majority of ACCA holders in SG are from malaysia

If they get to convert you can say bye bye to your job

They basically thrift on every single expense when in SG and spend exclusively in MY thus their asking salary reflects that

They go for lunch and never buy bubble tea one
Or else they tarpao from home and reheat in the non halal oven

See liao i also feel compelled to save more

Don’t stereotype la.

My malaysian senior buys the team bubble tea almost weekly while my local senior never does.

If they signed the MRA, it will devalue the CA cert since ACCA does not require a degree. More competition for jobs and maybe more locals will give up holding the CA cert since it has no value.

You know you've made the wrong life choices in terms of career path when the cost of a single cup of bubble tea is material to your savings.

Even those FASS chicks whole uni life never study for exams or do projects, just go around partying and f__king all the guys in sch, still come out join some PR or corporate comms firm or bank and earn more than auditors lmao.

To add on accounting dont have minimum barrier to entry unlike law and medicine and no graduation GPA requirement to become CA

Its like any ah pek can hold this ‘accounting’ Thor Hammer that has no protective enchantment

When you finally thought you can make it past financial controller level , people with CFA and/or MBA will start to fight with you for the CFO position
