Audit is better for middle or low level performers
The skillsets are more survival based. You can literally do audit anywhere by using only microsoft excel software and doing documentation
If stay at audit for long term i dont think its a bad issue for those who dont have plans to make it big in business sector

Accountants in commercial (Peter Lim/Tony Fernandes) > Dr Gerard Ee (auditor)
Look at Kim Lim...$$ literally cannot use finish and partying whole day & night
Dr Gerard Ee’s son nao working as high end property agent

lol when A1 pay increased from 2.6k to 3.6k, M1 pay remained at 6k for so long that people went from secondary school to poly to ns to Uni to starting work and it still didn’t change much.
Thought this is an open secret…
Only past 2 years then M1 got revised.

I think the post 2000 kids are calling this skibidi Ohio.
No it doesn’t seem like any Senior Associate has raised their hand asking for a demotion for less pay and less stress. People still want to grow and progress la.
But you are correct there is some feedback that the pay differential between A2 and S1 does not justify the workload differential.
Maybe come back next year and see if the firms are doing anything about it.
