Their career is not on the line. they quit to do something better. you are the one whining that people quit and you have to do their job.
Did you pay people enough to justify trying their best? Why tf must people going to work earning a living wage be held to your stupid standards, or any standard other than what they deem is worthwhile for what they are being paid. Doing a job doesnt entail bending ur ass over to get fked and OT cus of you structural failure or all of your idiotic last minute changes in audit plan or additional things to add which causes 90% of all OT in the first place.
So take your personal growth and shove it up on your own ass and have some yourself to learn that the world isnt about you and we dont have to thank you for a job. If your job sucks, dont expect people to put in the effort and dont whine when they quit.

Just because someone quits doesn’t mean they have found something better. If they leave and it creates problems, that become an issue.
Every job has their own standards, whether you agree with them or not. You can’t decide what is worth doing just based on what you are paid. If you only want to do the bare minimum, don’t be surprised when others have to pick up your slack. Don’t expect any sympathy when you are called out for it.
Complaining about overtime and last-minute changes is part and parcel of every job, especially in this audit line. If you can’t handle that, then maybe this line of work isn’t for you. Stop blaming everything on structural issues and saying most overtime is due to last-minute changes. This is just an excuse to avoid your own responsibility.
Personal growth isn’t something to ignore just because it doesn’t fit your own narrative. It’s what helps people grow and succeed. If you are not interested in growing, then that’s your own choice, but don’t expect others to lower their standards because of it.
If you think quitting is the answer to every problem, maybe the real issue is your attitude, not the job.

The Evil Overlords aka Partners must be happy. The Minions are distracted fighting among themselves so no one points the root cause to them.
