Its only good for those who can eventually hit CFO or Audit Partner

But with so many foreign accountants, the actual probability of being a marketing or IT director is much higher than the probability of being a finance director

current firm only hire through connections. so far the new finance managers and senior accountants on different team, all are colleagues or friends of colleagues of the finance director (ie exclusively from 1 big 4) lol very obvious

ikr sibei sian, they cannot match 8.5k for 7 YOE with only pure audit experience...

just need someone to give me chance for commercial exp

I think Gen Z don't want join audit or accounting jobs is because nobody show respect to auditors or accountants.

1) offend one of them

2) finance director resigns

3) finance director brings in a finance manager with ZERO industry knowledge and finance manager shoots his/her mouth off during company meeting regarding operations performance

Then take a lower pay to join commercial to get the experience first. Then only jump. Why so fixated by the $8.5k salary which you already know commercial won't offer you with no commercial experience?

If cannot take pay cut then forget about joining commercial and just do audit for life

Gen Z is better at time value of money concept

They know market mechanics, demand vs supply

If film 1 tiktok or do one video earn 3k to 5k like influencer

Then 1 week produce 3 videos etc then will still earn a comfortable 5 digits after deducting expenses

If you tell them have to do SCAQ, work many hours to earn that 10k a month over a number of years

They will not accept it
