Q: Big4 - Yearly salary increment

We underpay you first 3 years of your working life so you can earn extra to backfill the salary

Gen Z easily see thru this ******** koyok, HR will use your last drawn against you.

Even if you get your CA at the end, if you ask for a premium due to the CA registration, your salary only at best same as other industry.

Plus its a liability to pay $$ to ISCA yearly and do the non stop CPE til you retire

Gen Z market, all want instant high paying role

Koyok now very hard to sell.

salary range for associates is now around 4.3k to 4.5k per month, may be on par with other industries. But don't think the seniors benefit much from this change. The increment is not as much as it is for associates and seniors are sharing a higher workload due to reduced staff on engagements. More saikang on top of existing work

If you adjust for entire industry, the average is probably $3.7k

Minus another 20% due to inflation

The actual purchasing power is 3k pre covid.

The adjusted salary without bonus for A1 is probably similar to the pre-adjustment A2 pay with bonus. After the adjustment, is the hiring criteria more stringent?

They expect you to do manager work.
