For eg. Believe it or not, when i received the promotion at my firm, it was for a 50% increase in base pay. That allowed me to go from near 5k to near 7k.

Can I just check, this is for normal manager role?
How about normal annual increments?

Is the increment even a yearly thing in Big 4?

As far as I know, M has always been >$6k for many years. If it's lower than that, means there has been a paycut.

Not only need to be a partner but need to be senior partner in order to make serious cash. Even a junior partner only makes like $14/16k per month which isn't a lot. The senior partners on the other hand can easily make $1mil a year.
It's a slogfest over at the big 4.
