For eg. Believe it or not, when i received the promotion at my firm, it was for a 50% increase in base pay. That allowed me to go from near 5k to near 7k.

Can I just check, this is for normal manager role? :)

How about normal annual increments?

Is the increment even a yearly thing in Big 4?

So is this accurate roughly?

this is quite accurate. probably 90% confidence.

from one of the big 3 firms here more than 5 years ago.

A1 TO SA1 roughly accurate,

SA2 to M slightly too high.

As far as I know, M has always been >$6k for many years. If it's lower than that, means there has been a paycut.

agreed. unless u are a bad performing M.

Not only need to be a partner but need to be senior partner in order to make serious cash. Even a junior partner only makes like $14/16k per month which isn't a lot. The senior partners on the other hand can easily make $1mil a year.

It's a slogfest over at the big 4.
