Still dam little in my book

Go look at the banks/compliance boards. Nobody is saying it’s a big deal but merely correcting the misinformation perpetuated by anonymous persons. Salary trajectory is the same in big 4 and in these BO roles for an average performer as one progresses. Hope what you are drawing is a big deal “in your book” or whatever that is supposed to mean.

Banks BO/MO graduate programmes start at 4.5k on average and after 6-7 years these graduates would move on to VP (or at least at senior AVP level) earning 10k p.a. Better work life balance and bonuses as well (dependent on team — compliance averages 3 months)

This.

Actually have a few friends in BBs whom were freshly promoted to VP at the start of this year, drawing 11-12k base at their 7th year.

JPM, GS and UBS respectively. They are pretty easy to find actually. Just google VP, location put SG. All of them were previously in the banks’ grad programme. The one in JP told me out of those remaining in his class, 3/7 got promoted to VP in their 7th year (fyi, they actually worked only for 6 years + 7/8 mths)

It is actually funny how someone is comparing Big 4 to Banks (even for MO/BO). Making 6k+ in your sixth year at Big 4 vs starting out at 4k+ & making at the very least 8k in banks at the 6th year mark... I know what I would choose (not like those in B4 has this option lol).

Better benefits and wlb too

What MO/BO divisions are these (Audit, Compliance, Risk, Ops, etc)? Don't need to specify exact roles/teams for confidentiality sake :)

Really? It’s so simple I just did a simple search on JPM.

Jordan Ng, Kritika Rohera. Rest from other banks also quite easy to find.

lol totally missing the point. people are trying to correct the fake news being spread that require 6-7 years to reach M in big 4 lah! 5 years is enough to be manager in big 4
