B4 primary audience is hiring from fresh graduate so this thread confirm got students come in ask questions. They dun have a day of corporate experience so sometimes the qn dun even make sense just be patient and help explain if you got time.

Then there's a lot of alumni who unfortunately only have outdated information and not latest information.. Jul 2023 is quite recent lah

If you still have friends there can ask and share.. else check glassdoor or something.

Also open secret the standard of juniors these days not same as when we were there right? you see the university scores.

Tbh i dunno wat kind of education these new batch of A1s have received in their uni/jc/poly cus i really simply dun understand how their brain works. I understand that this is their first time attending stockcount so i sacrifice my precious time arranging a call with them to go through step by step on what to do. Even ask them to take down notes and ask me questions. 30mins throughout the call everything say yes yes understand. Then on the stock count day keep spamming my phone and ask me this and that. Eh hello? How hard is stock take you tell me? When I was an A1, I don’t even have a luxury of a senior holding my hand to walk me through. They just dump me the stock count sheet and ask me cab there and do all by myself. Stock count day they all MIA lo. Walao, nowadays as a senior, I’ll still have to babysit all these babies….

there's a reason why partners back then hired fch and sch local uni grads back then. now the current gen of partners so smart go hire people who can't even handle exams that you can get past year questions from classmates and mug, is it any surprise that they struggle even when seniors handhold them. audit is not rocket science but deducing what to do from nothing needs some critical thinking.

there's something very wrong because the poly interns are doing much better than the local uni associates who don't seem all that interested in listening to explanations nor learning on their own.

anyway i'm just quiet quitting so **** this. doing my booked hours and nothing more. if manyzer ask why no results by deadline i will just say associate too slow. if i don't blame them then manyzer blames me.
