Partner take the blame what if there is any issue.

Or Audit associates report to Audit committee these day?

Or audit associate sign off independent auditor report these day?

Let's say my bonus is already paid (I have received the cash in my bank account) by 28 December. My company has no bonus clawback policy.

If I resign on 29 December, what will happen to the CPF contribution on my bonus, which will only be paid out in mid-January? Will the employer still be obligated to pay the CPF on the Additional Wages? Or can they choose not to pay the CPF because I have already resigned?

Any help on this would be appreciated!
I tot auditors audit payroll expenses?

Damn xia suay

Thats why big 4 is failing. everytime my partner try to get me to come back into audit to help them. lol lucky i reject

Let me repeat, Singaporeans should never take orders from bloody third world foreign country like malaysians.

Do not compete with them and throw your life away. These jhk have incentive, you do not. These rice bowl stealers can retire early due to 3.5 and spend time with their family.

You don't have that exchange rate previlege. You will end up winning at work and losing at life.

Lol most associates will never even get to speak with the partners, we don’t care about them at all. It’s the seniors that bother us on a day to day, controlling what time we come to work and what time we go home.

Thanks for the history lesson? It’s good to see someone who cares.

It’s odd online see so many people talking about this, cause I can tell you 100% confidence nobody in my cohort talking about this at all. Nobody cares about the industry people only care about their own day to day experience.

Ultimately sorry but we are all human driven by self interest.

I may be Singaporean but I don’t spend my day worrying about the country, I leave that to the government.

It’s a bit sad to read what’s happening to the industry but that’s like a concept that is hard for 1 person to grasp. I can only do my own work, go home everyday and collect paycheck.

If you are truly passionate and noble and want to make a change, I’m not sure how - either you join politics, or join ISCA/ACRA, or make Partner yourself.

which explains why the current batch of auditors are no brainers. audit quality has been going down the drain. when u hire people who are born to be slaves, you cant expect any more from them. no foresight.

well, get off this forum and do your working paper.
and while u are at it, buy your malaysian senior a drink. they have been paying my sky high condo rent for almost 5 years in counting. I easily eat a large portion of their salary. even with promotions, i raise the rent.
