Active because everyone come here to mock this industry. It is a toxic industry because it is managed by greedy, stingy, calculative and conservative boomer partners.
The other company which is constantly mocked in this forum is IMDA.

Graduated during the start of COVID when no one else was hiring. Now became senior when it's a "recession" and no one else is hiring. My luck is just awful.

Active because from my time in 2008 to 2018 (?), the fresh graduate intake every year among the B4 combined is huge and probably among the largest in whole of SG, easily 100+ per firm.
Most have gone by now, but the alumni base is still super big. Come in chat how the juniors are doing and reminisce our young days.

SG audit going the way of offshoring already lol, no need to hire expensive locals. No need to hire managers to replace resigning ones either, partners say can let managers from other teams and depts take over. Now seniors like doing manager work already because managers too busy.

Which firm is this? Your townhall bothered answering questions? Ours just sidestepped questions and say 'I'm not aware' 'I don't know' 'Not to my knowledge' 'We are working on it' but never say what's stopping them from making a decision and tell irrelevant grandmother story. Oh and framing the staff shortage as a 'diversity' issue lol.

Anyone has tips on how to handle working on multiple engagements at the same time? New senior this year struggling with following up on previous engagements as I'm already dead tired by the time I've done my hours for my current job. Genuinely need advice that is not 'just find a job lol' because I've tried and nobody is hiring for real.

Time and project management.
It can’t really be taught.. you just pick up the soft skills as you go along. Many of my peers fell out when they couldn’t cope.
