Q: Big4 - Yearly salary increment

can somebody explain why partners still taking in million dollar bonuses while everything for everyone else is crashing down?

How many people here posting here are actual auditors lol... so many posters seem like students who couldn't get into big 4 LARPing...

I see, yeah that was definitely the best time but unfortunately I just graduated. I think there's just too much competition these days, especially with all the audit managers resigning without a job lately. Praying for something similar because even with the COMPASS system somehow companies are not having a shortage of accountants like during COVID.

Accountancy will end up like Civil Engineering. CDD can get in liao since most people are avoiding it like the plague. Accounting is dead boring, need to work long hours and low pay as the industry is filled with JHK who depress your salary. The biggest joke is still need to take smlj SQP to be a professional. Only kumgong then join.

Govt didnt do **** about engineering and just say engineer pay not low what, see SWE 20k salary. They're gonna do the same with auditors and say accountant pay not low what, see CFO 30k salary.

Same here, we have no real skills except to ctrl+f to find the information in their evidence word for word and raise spelling mistakes as issues.

I thought big 4 partners got a lot of lobbying power one. last time the managing partner of my big 4 firm love to por gahmen lanpa and he is now BOD in that farking SPH Media together with umbrage ng and penang cow. stupid jlb propaganda company which relies on taxpayers' money to survive.
