Dont take SCA, waste of time and money, low uptake rate which leads to brand decay, just look at how desperate they try to encourage working adults to take up, you intend to stay in this dead profession? hello its 2023. get off your laptops and realize how much a missed out on life, still grinding?
I want continue to take SCA P lvl,
But based on the requirements, i cant.

Sad. U need to be work in ATO to be be able to enroll for P lvl.

My current company is not ATO. Sad

Need to stay a few years to see payoffs. Next time people will go "wah auditor so smart!". Your gf parents know you are auditor, confirm rush you to marry their daughter.

Think long term. We're at the cusp of turning around the accountancy sector's fortunes. If you quit too early, you may just regret it in the future.
I have the same sentiments as you.

Freshie need to stay until M lvl, then jump out to commercial

This is frankly the worst take I have ever seen on this thread. Big 4 audit is the safest/fastest route to hit 100k PA? I seriously hope you’re joking, if not god help you.

If you really suck at other jobs then yeah audit is probably it since they will hire you regardless to boost their local quota. If you have half a brain, you can do non-accounting jobs or job hop every 2 years in fast track jobs. Most of my less outstanding friends hit 8k salary by year 4 or 5, the good ones hit in year 2 or 3. Keep in mind bonus in big 4 is only 1-2 months max, while corporate can be 3-6 months or more on top of >1k lifestyle allowance and better benefits.

is audit or a glc map better? assuming glc map in a finance function starts at 4.5k-5k, but I did an extended intern at one of the big four, so starting in audit as 2nd yr associate maybe around 4k?

This is a good idea... Can't take unpaid leave to find a job/interview so seems like this is the 2nd best option.

They offered you 2nd year associate role? my extended interns all start as 1st year. anyway the salary is 3.8k only, not 4k. Just to go GLC MAP. You'll need 2 years to reach audit senior for 4.8k, while you can reach 6k+ after 2 years in finance MAP. Why would you even consider audit?
