ST got two.
Engineers (the slave) pay wise is lower than market.
Managers (the master) pay wise is higher than market but have to deal with office politics alot.
So you just join. Imagine having to navigate this political mine field against other managers who have gained support from their boss for like 10 years..
Also ST does a lot of re-org. Every 1 or 2 years got job rotation. New bosses. New chain of command. New style of work. End up alot of conflicts. Alliance with old bosses. Etc.
Example early Jan you might report to XXX to work with YYY. July YYY will suddenly be the boss of XXX and you die liao.
