Forgive me, I'm just a poly student

I was first exposed to the working sector when I graduated from DHS with an O level certificate. So I entered a MLM direct sales company where i, through my hard work, earned 2000 dollars a month. However, I was not impressed with this sum of money for all the hard work I have put in. I need to reach office at 8.30am every morning, start work around 11am on field, go back to office by 7pm, and knock off by 8pm. Every night when I reach home it would by 9pm, and i just dont have the energy to spend my time with my family. Eventually i quitted as i felt that it is not worth my time and energy. Right now, I am associated with yet ANOTHER MLM. This time round, my salary in my first month is nearing 6k, and would only grow exponentially due to the company's wage structure. As a student, I only take care of my own expenses, school fees etc. Thus I felt that a 6k salary is good. But I would need to consult you guys out in the working world, if there's a 6k salary in your hands that will keep growing, is is it enough to support the family????

So you told your long story to entice us? Will you soon tell us how to contact you?

Advice for you: the best way to make money from MLM is to start one yourself.

Sorry, but if u think I am trying to entice you to join a MLM, but I am not. I can honestly tell you, I'm fresh to this working world, and all I was doing here is asking if my current salary is fair enough. Of course, it's obv that the best way to earn $ from a MLM is to start one myself, but as a poly student, fresh in this society, I am just clueless on organizing a MLM company as well as I don't have the cash to start it up! Obviously at this period of time, yes, everyone wants to be at the top of the mlm pyramid, but who really can do so?

So after so many years in MLM all you can get is a pathetic 6k a month!?!?

You better off trying something else lar, the good MLMers easily build up 3 layers and double your pay in 2 years.

Sorry but.. u misunderstood the entire post. I quitted my first MLM job after 6 months in that company. I am earning approximately 2.5k a month. In Esabee, I earn 5k plus 6k in my first month, but I am not sure if it's enough to sustain a family or not. Because my dad honestly, doesn't earn alot, approx 4k per month, mom is a housewife, thus my family is actually struggling to make ends meet. As such, I had to take up 3 jobs now during this hols not only to pay for my own school fees and personal expenses, I also have to earn enough to supplement my family's expenses. I obviously want my parents to have a better life for they are nearly 50 years old. As such, I am honestly asking you adults down here, is 5-6k a month, plus my dad's 4k a month, enough to support a family? We live in HDB and drive a car (my dad's job need it, but his company only pay for the petrol). I am 17 by the way, obviously i did not join a MLM at the age of 14!

it's too low. unlikely to be enough to sustain a family in singapore. mortgage in a nice condo will already take up 3-4k per month.

quit your MLM and find a better paying job. you are still young and can still afford to change.

But our hdb is nearly fully paid. We don't intend to move in the near future, n I am still studying in poly after graduating from dunman high. I still intend to get a good job in the IT security sector upon graduation. I am just enquiring if a combined salary of 10k is enough to sustain a family

yeah. 6k is peanuts. my brother's fren makes 50k a month doing mlm with only a few down lines. let me find out which company it is.
