I'm a fellow UOL second upper graduate last year, took a gap year to start a small business. Recently started hunting for jobs and happy to say I got a $5.5k/mnth offer and have accepted it. So don't be discourage guys. Be smart in the industry you want to work in and do your research on the company so that you can be confident and be genuine during interview. Don't give those usual textbook answers... HR probably hear them millions of times. Just be genuine, they love it, skills can be learn, cultural fit is hard to come across.

As you progress through your career, your qualifications may be less of a focus by employers.
Just a long term view on your career.. Even if you may find salary low or you dislike a job at an early stage, keep pressing on to find what you want.
The right opportunity will be there one day. Make sure you are ready for it by then.
Sharing by a sim uol grad many years ago.

im uol grad, in investment banking, 10k per mth and 7 mths bonus last year. grad last year.
pfft, local uni so what, useless af, nus ntu waste 4 years for ****?
rmit only 2 years, and already I'm in IB, haha losers

Identity crisis? So do you belong to UOL or RMIT? Doesn't matter anyway, can't make it to IB for sure.
