Wah recently this thread damn hot. The unemployed with better papers bashing the unemployed with lousier papers to feel better about themselves. Sometimes I'll drop a few comments myself to de-stress from work. The angry guy sure take the bait one haha

hello i am one of the mentioned “exceptional” graduates mentioned.

pls stop feeding the trolls on both ends any further.

here are my 4 TLDR takeaways

1) A local uni degree will always triumph over UOL. Tbh, I myself would jump ship to NUS BBA if given a chance.

2) SIM students are rejects? To a certain extent yes, generally we all ended up here cuz we fail to meet the requirement for local unis.

3) Are local grads better than SIM grads? Statistically on average, since they already have the better pick of students from Poly/JC as per 2)... naturally the odds are in their favour to be deemed as “better”.

4) Are SIM students losers? Definitely not. I refuse to let my A levels hiccup determine my career trajectory. Knowing that I’m given the shorter end of the stick with regards to academic prestige, I make up my shortcomings with sheer grit. I eventually grad with a FCH and a summer stint with BB.

I hope subsequent posts will disregard the trolls.

What's wrong with finding a handful of successful SIM grads on linkedin to prove how prestigious SIM is, conveniently ignoring that most of the others won't make it? Btw, literally 75% of local uni grads are taking 2.2k traineeships. Only the top 25% found jobs.

Guess there is always salty jobless local uni grads with nth better to do than to stir **** in this thread 😂😂

Why do you assume the post above yours is someone impersonating UOL Clementi students when it's clear it's not? Is this the low level of intellect SIM students have? More importantly, why would someone want to impersonate SIM students? I think the name LSE Clementi will bring great shame to any family's name for 100 years.

Let me give you an easier task, find successful Local Uni grads. they are all over. Probably take you less than 1/4 of the time you took to find the above profiles.
