Big 4 is no big deal. Many other industries paying much better.
A big 4 called me for a role and could only offer slightly below my current annual base.

Agree to this, Commercial industry definitely pays better than Corporate Accounting industry.
Which role in the Big 4? If it's advisory then it's worth it.

Considering that you are not in the banking sector where you will probably be earning more, I would say that is not too bad. Maybe 51st percentile of your cohort.

Are you kidding? With $130k pa you should be at least 80-90th percentile of your cohort!

Nope, $130k is quite normal in CS after TS's 13 years in workforce. An equivalent in CS should already be getting about $150k.
Yet they complain that they are not paid market rates...

It is true that earning 130k is around 85th percentile at his age range. If equivalent CS is earning 150k by then, which means all CS are above 85th percentile. Is that even possible that most CS are in the top 15%?

I don't think you need a specific degree to join HPB? Not sure about HSA though. Actually after looking at it, maybe just HPB. I don't really want to join HSA.
So to simplify my question, do SIM UOL grads get hired at stat boards like HPB?
