2700 is on the high side, unless you can get into big4, for SIM grads doing accounting most companies will pay 2200 to 2500 range unless you have prior relevant work exp.

Private sector does nor pay extra for honors. Only some old school GLC like SIA, Keppel etc. pay token 100-150 extra for certain jobs.

Big 4 do not hire from private uni. you can never be an associate in the Big 4. SIM UOL is not a proper school, there is no way you can be a qualified accountant.

have another friend whos been in the big4 for 5yrs, got in through acca route and sim-uol business. could never get promoted to associate 2 rank. (fresh grads join as assoc 2).
