2nd upper in econs and finance. all roles non-customer facing, although fair amount of senior stakeholder management.
start with an insurer - underwriting
year 0 - $3,000
year 1 - $3,500
year 2 - $3,575 (job-hopped to a temasek-linked company doing risk management)
year 3 - $3,671
year 4 - $4,350 (promoted)
year 5 - $5,633 (consecutive promotion)
year 6 - $5,958 (job-hopped to another temasek company)
year 7 - $$7,055 (promoted)
year 8 - $8,245 (job-hopped to a retailer)
|
posting an update:
year 9 - $9,209 (promoted)
year 10 (current year) - $9,920
all figures are monthly without bonuses or aws.
again, would like to share that where your degree comes from doesnt really matter. luck is 50%. the other 50% depends on your work ethic, and if necessary, how you maneuver internal politics and your boss.

ALL are fake news la. JOKE. i know quite a lot of hiring managers, highest salary ever recorded is around 7k la with 8-10 years experience from tech to marketing to business. LOLOLOL so many jokers here. Starting pay is between 3k to 5k la.
Companies will still low ball you despite your years of working experience cos of the 'private' cert. Joke.
In a finance company I have 2 friends 1 NUS 1 SIM working there (not some trash insurance business like AAG) , same role. 1 draw 9k another draw 6.7k. CLOWNS!

Continue to improve your skills set and built connections. You should be able to break the $7k barrier soon.
