Waiting to start work. For him probably waiting to start his traineeship or continue his FT role in SIM UOL forum.

Study so 'hard' so I can enter a real university and attain a real degree. Then proceed to mog and abuse you to the depths of hell.

Seriously, are you measuring your salary in yen? Nobody is giving a SIMian a starting salary of above 1k 😂

Sad how this thread has degenerated into a dick measuring contest between two jokers who just cant seem to quit it.

Anyways, id just like to say that as a uol graduate i started off by joining an sme audit firm to "get my experience" before making my next move. Starting pay was really poor (2.3k with 13th mth) but after a hectic first month of learning my jobscope from the guy im replacing, it became super chill and relaxing. Thinking back now, i would enjoy periods of absolute stress free work and was in the best of health physically and mentally.

After about a year i eventually started looking for other jobs and wanted a change of environment so i decided to apply for a very niche job totally unrelated to my accounting degree but which still required a uni degree. Went through aptitude and psychological tests and after 1.5 years of training, eventually made it to the position i applied for. After about 3 years from my graduation date, im now drawing 4.2k excluding performance and 13th month bonus. However the downside is that im in such a niche job that i would not be able to "jump around" companies anymore unless i go overseas. The stress levels are also several magnitudes higher than my old job.

My advise to fellow sim grads is to not limit yourself to jobs related to your degree and to look out for job opportunities which only require a general degree. Dont give up and to always keep trying! Times are rough now but as long as we dont stop fighting we will always move forward.

Still waiting for the humji to share his credentials leh

Gotta be real with you though, 4.2k after 3 years isn’t much of a flex. Will be drawing more than that after my finals. Nonetheless, jy bro!
