Massive derail of topic guys.
Can we move back to SIM grads sharing their starting salary.
Those that just want to bash SIM grads let's just ignore them all. Don't feed the trolls.
I'm currently in Banking BO, drawing $3,000. Fresh grad 2015.

SIM degrees have been recognise by the pte sector for a long time already, thats why even now the gov is forced to acknowldge that they are the same as the other 4 local unis.
Big banks and mncs dun care about where the degree is from as they think creative thinking and eq more impt. I suspect most of the SIM bashers are local uni grads from public sector who have no clue how the pte sector work.

Keep living in your fantasy. I have never seen SIM kids in important roles in big banks or top mncs. Maybe contract staff but let's not kid ourselves with the top programs.

erm.
there are 0 sims in graduate programs or MAP in any banks.
HR automatically filters them out - since HR do not recognise sim papers.
worthless.
you say there are, show me. how i know there isnt?
simple. i'm from one of the MAPs. we network with other firms. i've been told first hand by the HR top dog in SG that they filter out sim- papers immediately.
