Local Uni graduates??? comments???

A taxi driver making 7k a month will appear on the news. but no newspaper will publish a cover story about a young doctor making 7k a month.
The fact that the news u quoted was published highlights the disparity of how local uni and SIM are being perceived.

dude, theres no such thing as a private uni.
how can you set up a private institution, charge some $, and call yourself a university with little or no history/oversight?
the key is that overseas distance learning programmes are not accredited or held to the same level of expectation to that of a proper university.
it is nothing but this - a scam.
i will only go so far as to call sim a course provider - for working adults to learn abit more about things REAL students learn about in lectures from real professors.
pls call a spade a spade - sim is not a university.
whats the difference between SPU and SIM? none in my opinion.

that's funny. if unisim isnt a uni in all you high flyers' eyes, then why did it receive a mandate from MOE and PM Lee Hsien Loong to be SG's first private UNIVERSITY for working adults?
i can understand and agree if u say that unisim graduates arent paid as well and dont have as good job prospects as though who graduated from the big 3 ( NUS / NTU / SMU). but to say that unisim isnt a uni but a scam is just outright plain jealousy.
ever seen ppl wearing unisim shirts in your neighbourhood? well there's a word UNIVERSITY printed on their shirts. so there, done and dusted. period.
and finally, no im not from unisim. i feel it's just plain retarded for the keyboard warriors here to attack a uni out of pure spite, hatred and jealousy, especially when even MOE sends its own teachers for upgrading at unisim.

You are right, SIM is the recommended course provider for working adults.
Which means non-working full time students are not recommended to go to SIM.

bo lui say bo lui. arguing about which uni who goes to is in fact competing whether who achieves more success. If you wanna talk about success in sg its typically the job you are doing and how much you make for it. you can be all pretentious but you know thats what matters. you either don't make enough to be proud to show it, or you are not making any money at all. lol. paper bullets from kids.
