Lol, you just proved that you are still too far away from $5k pm to know better. Anyway the bar has been raised to $6k from next year.

Stay off the forums and pay more attention to work if you hope to get to this first milestone!

cpf contributions are always capped at the 5k limit. 20% of 5k is 1k. if you've never hit this limit, you probably are unaware of it. btw, this limit will be raised to 6k in jan 2016.

cpf on bonuses are also similarly capped, using a simple formula:
(Additional Wage Ceiling) - (Total Ordinary Wages)

where (Additional Wage Ceiling) is currently 85k, which will be raised to $102k in jan 2016.

thats the way ppl, keep it to solely constructive debate/discussions, don't have to bash or belittle others just to satisfy your own esteem and ego, although this is a dog eat dog world, there is always room for a little compassion and empathy

You know what he would reply? Oh yes I'm earning 10k a month(behind your back he will be recycling his 10k).Then you know what a SIM student will say?
