Hi! When did they inform you of the outcome? And was it after the interview at the HQ? My interview was on the 18th, but till date have not received any updates. Thanks for the reply.

Earlier this week. Given how big the organization is, I'm guessing it might have been a different HR personnel who handled yours. Otherwise, the other reason I can think of is because you've been shortlisted for a second interview and they're currently preparing for it. Hopefully it's that case for you!

I’m hoping that’s the case too but the earlier posts suggest that 2nd round interviews happened within a week from the first so chances are really low. Been more than 2 weeks for mine, the HR probably forgot to send a rejection email.

Hang in there! There are other ways you can contribute back to the community without having to be at the PA

Thank you!! I’ll look for other jobs, gain some working experience and try again next time! What about yourself? Are you employed?

Yes, I'm still employed so I'm not too worried about not landing the job immediately. Hopefully things work out well for you!

Started my work at PA. Its is pretty different what you expect. Some tips for all those applying, if you don't mind burning your weekday and weekend off to liase with people, then go ahead with applying. I would say it is pretty mentally exhausting as every weekend means event. You have to not just coordinate the CC events, you also have to coordinate your own RC or NC events depending on which one you are in charge of. You have to learn and work with grassroot leaders which is not easy depending on the type of people you meet. Moreover, you have to be alert anytime as anyone would find you for anything. Right now, I am still struggling. To add on, you also have to take charge of the accounts for you RC/NC etc..

A week have passed since said phone call and 2 weeks have passed since automated email so i'm rly puzzled what i should do next

Incidentally, I would like to know how were u informed to head down to a CC for the second interview.
For your information, usually will be quite a number of CD sitting in the first interview and they are from different CC looking for ppl to fill the vancancy. So if the CD of your nearest CC did not attend the first interview, but the panel feel that you are suitable, they will check with the CD of the nearest CC if they want to conduct a 2nd interview before accepting the candidate or they would like to hire without 2nd interview. Thus don't worry if you are called up for a 2nd interview, it just mean you are qualified and your future boss want to meet you. For some, if you are directly accepted after the first interview, it just means your future boss was part of the interview panel.

Thanks for the input, it seems like it’s easy to get burn out if you do not have the passion for event coordination and grassroot works. Mind sharing how long did it took for them to get back to you after your interview?
