Noticed that there was a freezing of headcounts of CMs since SG50 celeb... Any idea when will the gates be open again :P ?

With the election year over, I thought this will be a relatively quiet year but instead CMs are busier than usual with a slew of new initiatives rolled out.
They have to 'walk the ground' and solicit feedback from residents.
Knowing Singaporeans, they are usually surprised and skeptical when you approach them not to mention how awkward it is for the CMs.
And when they know you are with PA, they'll assume you are government spies sent by the PAP.

Most definitely less than 8 grand...
I will rather work 2 jobs though, as that will ensure I have more time and money
than a DCD.
Forget 攻心計, the politics there is worse than Empresses in the Palace.
The MP is the emperor, the grassroots leaders are the various concubines, the directors are the eunuchs while the rest of the staff are lackeys.

Actually I find the politics there very simple and straight forward, it's just whether you want to play or not. Typical follow rank 1 layer arselick another 1 layer on top. Much simpler than a lot of global mnc.

Even if you don't want to play, you will be forced to.
Inside every committee in the CC, there are bound to be smaller cliques,
who may not get along with each other. Or you are in charge of two different committees
whose chairmen hate each other's guts.
You don't want to take sides but you can't make one both happy.
I used to be a clock watcher who lives for the weekends.
Now, everyday is a workday when you are on call 24/7.
You can't remember what day of the week anymore because it's all the same.
