Mine was basically a light-hearted but informative session. The main interviewer, in a generous and relaxed manner, shared realities and demands of the job. I have been concerned that my written responses might have been seeming long so, I am hoping that their main points will be read.
Thanks and all the best, everyone.

Are you a fresh grad?

Nope, depends on your voluntary experiences/cca, as long as you are able to show your passion in community-related work. How did you feel about the interview?

I called the HR this morning for an answer but she told me to accept my other job offer, as they are unable to let me know when there will be a vacancy. Anybody with similar experiences can let me know if this is a rejection? I’m really interested in serving as a CM though

u need to learn to read in between the lines of what ppl say.
what u typed is as good as an indirect rejection.
FYI, PA CM/CME hires actively throughout the year. the number of applicants they reject is in the low 5-digits to 6-digits figures.

Yeah but i know of candidates that was rejected within 2 weeks. So I was hoping that if I was rejected they could inform me directly instead of saying that.
How do you know about the figures? Are you in PA currently? Do you happen to know if I can reapply again?

You could wait for the formal reply and then re-apply again, if need be. The turn over rate is high for PA CM & CME, therefore you will always see job offering for the roles.
Ask yourself, are you prepare to work during off days and liaise with grassroots ppl on events etc. Your off days will be split out into 1 weekday and weekend.
Passionate about contribution to community is one thing and is different when you are working in PA. It is a job and you are required to meet certain KPI.
Volunteering outside during your free time and on certain initiative that aligned with your belief will bring great satisfaction.
