Are there different annual increment rates associated with different grades?
Like a DD on MX9, would he also get a $150 annual increment like me, or would his be different? Is it percentage-based, or based on a fixed sum? I really don't see any pattern with my increments over the years other than it seems to hover around $150.

Join PAP and volunteer at PA, CC, RC. There's no direct link, but it's always good to let your boss know you are helping the community and it will look good on your CV.

Pls don't give this kind of advice man. If you want to serve in the grassroots, do it on your own accord. If you do it for benefits such as school placement priority for children etc, also leave it to you. But really don't do it hoping that it will "boost" your civil service career. That is just pathetic.

You will get free parking in the whole GRC, and your child will get Phase 2B chance in a top school. Anything extra is icing on the cake. Foreigners take care of their own kind. Similarly, the "taking care" also happens in many other places. It may not apply in your particular case, but the invisible hand is always there.
