It takes a few months from interview to offer.
Most agencies only notify the shortlisted.
It is a waiting game and HR always wins.

Try not to use current or previous boss as reference.
It works for maids and should be avoided for others.
You should use friendly work partners for references.
And alert them that they are your references.
