DSTA Security Clearance 2022
Hi all,
Just signed a provisional offer from DSTA as a fresh graduate, offer will stand if I manage to clear security clearance (G50) and medical.
May I know usually how long does security take? Do most people pass it easily? Not sure if it matters but I am a chinese male, no criminal records and neither do my relatives.
Should I still continue looking for jobs and going for interviews just to be safe?
Would appreciate any input, thanks!

I'm currently working in St engineering which requires g50 clearance too for my role.. This security clearance will take at least 3 months to process. My suggestion is to continue looking for other jobs and going for interviews... If this doesn't go through, u have other job offers lined up... Or u can even cancel this job offer should u get another to start soon..

yours clearance start when and when was the outcome out aka formal job offer letter
(if candidate not clear, make no sense for the SB/Ministry to offer the job)
