Saw on glassdoor that they are quite stingy on their compensation. is this true? anyone can give a rough range on junior, mid, senior developers?

Unregistered 30-04-2022 12:25 AM

Junior is 4.2k, even with negotiation.

Also it's a trash company, Java developer or not they don't do anything interesting, it's mostly maintaining their trash legacy code and a dumping ground for trash local uni grads

Unregistered 01-05-2022 11:06 AM

I think not all projects are maintaining legacy code right? I was interviewing with them and asked about their projects. But they seem to use more up to date like angular framework now.

Yup, they are working mostly on government projects. Direct competitor with NCS/ST Eng.

4.2k for junior developers is indeed very low. heard NCS is already paying 4.8k for junior.

Most interviewers tend to lie or exaggerate stuffs and talk about how they're working on cool stuffs etc only to later join and realized you got baited and switched.

I mean join if you want, I don't know you so doesn't really bother me if you want to join this WITCH-like garbage company with falling stock and consistent employee downsizing for the past 4 years. I just wanted to share what I know based on some of my uni batch mates who joined last year.

Unregistered 01-05-2022 11:34 AM

Yup, based on what others are saying, seems like a company with uninteresting projects.

That aside, I believe they have good work life balance though, based on what I have read on Glassdoor.

They told me that their staff have been WFH since 2019. It is a default arrangement for all staff now, a cultural shift from 2019.
