Starter job for HR

Hi, I want to get into a company in the HR industry. The problem is I do have a diploma but is not HR related. I'm aiming to gain experience on HR as much as I can.

Job nowadays have minimum working experience requirement, which I feel I'm unable to join. What is your advice on how to achieve HR experience in my current situation ? Or are there any companies that is able to hire without experience.

Thank you! :)

I think the easiest way is to join the SG United Traineeship and hope to get experience and eventually converted to perm staff. All the best!

My good friend is currently a HR and also from a non-hr related background. She started from contract work for some startup and with the experience she is able to jump to better companies. I feel that you should just mass apply and don’t worry so much. If the company is willing to give you an interview means you are given a chance to try to impress them. Good luck. Oh, and also try to brush up on excel functions at least like VLOOKUP and stuffs.

Thanks for the info. Will do that. It really gets easier once you has the experience. But landing the first job is hard due to inexperience
