Records of ex-employees in companies
Hi members,
Just a doubt to ask you all. Will companies still keep records of their ex-employees who resigned from the company 5 years ago or 10 years ago? Is it a common practice to keep all the records of the ex-employees permanently? |
Why do you want to know though? I believe a company has to keep records minimally the number of years audit records required. A simple check IRAS requires companies to keep their audit records min 5 years. And this differs from countries to countries so I guess there is no one size fits all answer? I think you should ask your HR instead.
