Degree Grad in IS (non-local U)

2014 - 2700
2015 - 3000
2016 - 3750
2017 - 4250 (Changed Job)
2018 - 4700
2019 - 5250 (Promoted)
2020 - 5500
2021 - 5650

In IT Application, nothing great as what others, but this is my realistic sad story.
I hope to do better or change my career at 2022 to secure a better pay.

Bro, don't be too stressed out by other posts here (don't even know if they're true or not). I'd rather we all be realistic and contented with what we have Your increments have been rather consistent too! Most of us here pretty much have the same salary range as you. Just keep up the good work and you'll be fine

Hey all,

What is a decent salary after 3 years of experience for a local uni grad in non-tech or non-high finance (IB, S&T, mgmt consulting) industry, i.e. average regular joe which 90% of the population is in.

Thanks!

Between 3 to 6 YOE is the best time to hop and get good % raises.. companies are quite willing to pay as you have some level of industry experience already.

Below are my yearly base salary figure progression (some companies didn't pay bonus so I've added % increase in terms of annual package).
Joining some companies which incorporates the bonus into the base salary helps a lot in negotiating for the next job:

2012 - $3400, $3430 (prorated annual increment after 4 months) (base +0.88%)
2013 - $3610 (annual increment) (base +5.24%)
2014 - $4475 (promotion + company incorporate AWS into salary) (base +24%, annual pkg +15.7%)
2015 - $4710 (base +5.2%)
2016 - $6000 (changed company) (base +27.4%)
2017 - $9833 (changed company, new company no bonus) (base +64%, annual pkg + 40.4%)
2018 - $10224 (annual increment) (base +4%)
2019 - $13700 (changed company, new company no bonus) (base +34%, annual pkg +15%)
2020 - $14667 (changed company + new company gives 20% commissions) (base +7%, annual pkg +25%)
2021 - $15833 (promotion) (base +8%)
