What is a decent salary after 3 years of experience for a local uni grad in non-tech or non-high finance (IB, S&T, mgmt consulting) industry, i.e. average regular joe which 90% of the population is in.

Thanks!!!

You have this impression that 90% of the population is an average Joe, which isn’t true.

Real life is a bell curve too, the 20th percentile and 80th percentile are very far apart.

And in the first place, not everyone has a degree to begin with

You need to refine your search parameters better to get a more meaningful answer.

not the OP but obviously he/she has already laid out the parameters that he/she is keen - i.e. local uni grad in a field that's outside what's traditionally racking the big bucks

Went to a regional role.
And basically, it appears that HR doesn't really look at how long you have held your last drawn... I had a really decent jump from 2015 to 2016, and got another big jump jumping to another company after just 8 months.

grad in 2019 with starting salary of high 3k+
2 years later (now) around mid 5k+

won't starve, not terrible but not decent too, still trying to survive..

Good sharing. Is regional role more stressful and worth current salary?
15k is annual package divide by 12?

Is it not? Considering the median local uni fresh grad salary for 2020 is 4k & not everyone graduates from/goes to local uni. Either ways, I wouldn’t bring survival into the topic. There are actually real people who are struggling to survive. Earning 5k+ With 2 YOE and complaining about survival is just insensitive.
