their 5k pay for mundane work is no longer attractive in todays market

the last time i worked there, my manager called me a chink. fking trash company, nice 6 months probation too, literally every year they cut 10% from the graduate batch for no reason. my friend who performs better than me, OT more than me got fired out of the blue.

wow i have honestly not heard about them firing from grad batches. all i heard was poor progression in terms of title and salary and low bonuses for those poor performers.

Fake news. GS doesn't fire from graduate batch. Only those with 1.5 yrs or more exp (since local uni intake is jun/jul). Unless he resigned or did something unacceptable (think harassment, weight shaming, falsifying data). Listing these examples because I know 1 person who got fired for exactly that.

that's true. gs ops have been heavily criticised but don't see that kind of hate for other BB ops

I decided not be shortsighted and accepted a small pay cut to join another more promising graduate program in a revenue generating role.
