Ex-battery
I left Barcs despite a good pay coz I am not from front office. I do not wish to go to India eventually and I am in mid 30s now. I decided to invest my time elsewhere, no point wasting time in the name of $$$. It does not even pay long. No future. You dun feel like a family, and you dun grow with it. I think staff are just like batteries in companies like these. No realistic concen on staff welfare and long term careers. when I left, I was warned by the HR not to speak ill of Barcs, but hey if you treat staff well, why the worry? I did not even complain but I was still warned. I did not deserve that sort of treatment. Glad to leave.

Don't listen to them, finance jobs in Singapore are good but not that good.
As a Chartered Accountant you'll easily make S$500/mth that may not seem like much but a house costs about 1k tops over here, cost of living is cheap.
