How long does it take to hear back from JPM and GS?

Interviewed at both places. Just wondering how fast do they usually get back

For JPM get back quite fast. For me the HR updated me on the day itself after the HR interview, and the day after for the line manager and heads interview

What did you apply for? Fresh grad or direct hire?

I posted this - this was a dire hire role too.

From my experience, fresh grad recruitment is kind of slow. 1 month in between interviews.

Highly doubt so. For direct hire the process is usually quite fast one because JPM assigns a dedicated HR staff to go through the entire process with the candidate.

My friend completed the entire process within 2 weeks

Under gs,1 to 2 weeks for direct hire. Their hr is in hong kong so it takes time.

I'm specifically talking about a full time analyst program. Eg. Pymetrics hirevue. 1 month later interview. Results out in 2-4 weeks?

Less than 2 weeks. 4 is way too long

I'm currently still in the process of interview for this year's direct hire graduate intake, for JPM.

HR Interview - Apr 22, notified on outcome on Apr 26
Interview with line managers - Apr 28, notified on outcome on Apr 29
Interview with department heads - May 6, still awaiting outcome.

So JPM actually responds quite fast for direct hires, FYI

What division did you apply for? Surprised there are still slots for 2021 graduate intake.

Is the rank hierarchy for GS and JPM similar to DBS?

analyst > senior analyst > associate > senior associate > AVP > VP

analyst > senior analyst > associate > senior associate > AVP > VP

No AVP and some roles do not have the senior associate position

i was told by HR to submit documents for background check. Does anyone know how the process works? like when will the offer letter and start date be made known. what is being checked for background check and how long it takes?

i googled online and i saw many from other countries say it will take 4 to 6 weeks or even longer but unsure if it is relevant to SG

Usually for fresh grads it takes around 3 working days, but if it takes longer for you means they managed to dig up something and most likely you won't get the offer anymore
