Anyone can advice on AMD Engineer job?
 

It seems that Micron is frequently mentioned and highly appraised in this forum. Recently I received a job offer from AMD, and I am curious about advancement/salary/job nature there. Any replies will be greatly appreciated!!

Progression in good, as long as you put in the hours & work hard.

Currently a donut boy at AMD, racking in $5.50 per hour. Am marked for promotion for rubbish boy at the end of the month, by which time my pay will increase to $6 :D

I hold a degree in economics and finance from SIM University / LSE Clementi.

XD good joke. To be specific, i got offered a product development engineer role with the company. I am from a computer engineering background, so I am wondering if it is a good fit!

PDE has good prospects. AMD alone is a huge name, the competition is stiff though. But if you do well, your future will be bright.
