this has got to be the minority right? fresh grad CS 50k a month? 5k starting pay minus cpf only gives you 48k a year how are we discussing 50k a MONTH

I know starting salary is high for citadel, jump trading, renaissance technologies, and jane street, but not this high. Probably base around 9k to 12k for freshgrad. 20% to 40% more with bonus. They have higher barrier for entry compared to google.

Cui One : 3k to 3.5k
Average One : 3.8k to 4.5k
Good One : 5k to 6k
Cream of the crop : >6k (Sky is the limit for these)

4-5K is for non-IT degree. with IT degree you should be able to ask for more.

My company have been hiring fresh grad since the dawn of time.

I am a senior architect in this industry for 20yeads.
Eveey year I see the fresh grad all the same.
Lazy.
Inexperienced
No UX experience all their ui ugly like ****
No clean code experience. All their code like sphagetti.
No test experience. No dependency injection. Just now how to write everything in 1 function. Don't know how to separate the responsibilities into multiple class.
No performance experience. All the code they written is synchronous. No async. No petroemajcr tuning. No cache.no memory. Not scalable....

Give basic requiment also just dumb dumb follow requiment. Can't think of the possible implications.

Got issue don't know how to resolve. Just know how to quick fix. And introduce more bugs.
No concept of design pattern.
No concept of object. Everything is enbdeed in the UI code logic.
How to ****ing test.

Tbe code they write are for the compiler to understand.
Another human can't understand their code...
