Associate salary in Investment banking - Middle office role
 

Hi All,

Initiating this thread to understand the average salary in Singapore for Middle office roles ( associate and senior associate/ AVP) with 8- 10 years of experience with global international banks. Seeking your valuable input.

As per my research based on various sites, it should be 100k - 120K average (base salary)

Investment banking? Middle office? Maybe you can go and do some research before you even ask the question...

Pretty sure he’s referring to the IB division in general (Markets, S&T, Prime Brokerage etc), not the pigeon-holed notion of M&A/ECM/DCM.

yes, that's right. I think trade support roles are being referred here which are a part of IB division in some banks

Base salary in local and japanese banks are lower. I would expect the above numbers for US or european banks but their bonus is minimal as well (1 to 2 months)

With 8-10 years you should be aiming VP though

Local banks probably start at 9-10k
International banks junior vp probably 11-13k
