Ya analyst rank is for 1-3 years roughly, associate range is abit bigger 5-7/8 years. Also depends on your pay / job scope.
My associate friend in DBS has a masters in financial engineering with ~6-7 years of experience drawing around 7K+. Prolly getting promoted to AVP this year. He joined as an associate about 1.5 years ago.

Wait for next year for the programme to open again or keep checking every now and then to see if they open it again.

Some banks have very inflated titles. Case-in-point: HSBC, sooo easy to get AVP or VP ranked there and still earning peanuts. All my friends in HSBC all at least VP lol.

Glad to know other banks avp/ vp are also lowly paid. So I'm not alone.
