Work in pharmacy
 

Hi,

I would like to know if Degree major in Biomedical science can work in hospital pharmacy? FYI, I having degree Biomedical Science in Malaysia and I'm a SPR now. I want to consider to change my career path and wanted to work in pharmacy. As I don't want to work in the laboratory forever until old age.

But not so sure if that possible (degree in biomedical science - can work in pharmacy?). Got any idea? Or should I take any short course or certificate in pharmacy ?

I don't think that it is possible, because you don't have the required qualification for pharmacy. I would suggest you to take at least some short courses, in order to have higher chances of getting the job. Anyway, if you don't want to deal with the preparation of medicines, than, I think that you can take this risk. However, since I've started to work for ACNM Online Pharmacy, I changed my views upon the traditional drug stores. I don't know who's still using them, because they're already outdated. So, you better reconsider your thoughts before you apply to this job.

Hi i have an engineering deg but my passion for it is gone. Did a job test to find out which job is suitable for me, and turns out to be a pharmacy tech. Can i work as one with an engineering degree?
