Just an encouragement to those who didn't start with big bucks. I started out at 3k a month as a swe. 13 years later at 200k. tech in public sector.
FAANG / startup would pay more but I value job stability as I approach later half of my life.

Graduated 3 years ago. Starting package then was 80k all-in. Current package now is 130k all-in, decent but looking for more
